KALTERERSEE AUSLESE CLASSICO KEIL

TYPE OF GRAPE: Grauvernatsch, Tschaggelevernatsch ("Meraner Kurtraube" used for a special grape-cure performed in Merano), Mittervernatsch, "G'schlafene", hardly any Großvernatsch and only a few Edelschwarze.
CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES: light ruby and with a fruity strong bouquet. Fresh and distinctive taste. Only few tannins and a slight bitter almond taste, which is typical for wines grown in the region around the Lago de Caldaro lake. Dry.
